The Drow are a vicious people who live underground, completely cut off from the Surface -- or not so completely. A werewolf manages to break into the secluded world in an attempt to flee from the moon. The werewolf dies, but her offspring survives inside a Magical Incubator which alters his abilities. Though these powers could be useful for the Drow military, the Drow Queen is more interested in indulging her new found affection for the young creature. This story chronicles the early relationship of Drel and the Matriarch. It takes place before the main Corner Alley 13 storyline, but can be read one its own.
